Indian cricket team and the musical chair

India after dashing out of world cup cricket in first round after an unexpectedly dismal performance from the likes of Tendulkar, Sehwag, Ganguly , Dravid & Co.

However the plight of Indian cricket, which was initiated since Greg Chappell was contracted to coach Indian team, has not come to an end.

In recent years BCCI and team management have performed off the field to make up for the abysmal performance of India Blue team.

Few of  the tid-bids in recent years:

1)      Greg Chappell hired with big aplomb.

2)      Ganguly runs into trouble due to Chappell’s leaked email.

3)      Dravid selected captain of team India.

4)      Sehwag given a long rope.

5)      Pathan forgets his swing.

6)      Fingers raised on Tendulkar.

7)      Chappell given a good bye.

8 )      Players denied graded contracts and BCCI back tracking.

9)      Ford selected and then denies taking the offer.

10)  Last but not the least John Emburey proposed by Gavaskar  to coach Indian team.

The saga of Sharad Pawar being elected BCCI, before he was dumped by a single vote is long forgotten.

Now the game of musical chair has begun with ad-hoc team managers filling in for coach while Indian team tries to resurrect itself.
